CANCELLATION POLICY:If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

COMMENTS:5.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. No internet access available. This hotel has no meal services. No parking available. Pets are not allowed. The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 2 days prior to arrival and is refundable.

CHILD POLICY:All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 25.00 per stay for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Geneva Christmas Market

Surrounded by the snow-capped Alps, Geneva is a place of enchantment and tradition during the festive season. Not far from the shores of Lake Geneva, local craftsmen gather in wooden chalets making pottery, jewellery and traditional Swiss wooden toys. Traditional delicacies such as buttery St Nicholas pastries, hand-made chocolates, spiced gingerbread and hot Glühwein are all on offer to keep you warm as you wander the stalls. Other highlights include a Christmas tree festival when local artists decorate hundreds of trees throughout the city and the famous outdoor ice-skating rink.

The Three Valleys

Lying to the west of Lyon, the ski region comprising The Three Valleys is one of the most famous in the world. The area represents the largest skiing domain in the world with over 200 lifts and 600km of pisted runs and about the same again off piste. The world famous resorts of Courchevel, Meribel and La Tania are part of this magnificent area, as is Val Thorens, one of Europe's highest resorts offering, snow-sure skiing throughout the season and glacier-skiing during the summer. All in all, a magnificent location for all levels of skiing abilities.

Travel options: by air, fly to Lyon, Geneva, Chambéry or St. Etienne and transfer by bus to the resorts (journey time between 2 to 3 hours). Airlines include British Airways, bmibaby, easyjet, ryanair, flybe, Swiss and Air France; by train, travel from London to Moutiers via Paris, Lille or Brussels; by car, approximately 600 miles via Eurotunnel or ferry, take the Autoroute from Lyon to Albertville

Mont Blanc

As part of the Mont Blanc Ski domain, skiers have access to 700km of slopes and 343 official pistes in amongst others, Chamonix, Les Houches, Megeve and St Gervais. Chamonix is arguably the capital of Alpine sport, with its position next to Mont Blanc, awe-inspiring scenery, great piste terrain and excellent restaurants and nightlife. St Gervais is popular with families wanting a cheaper alternative to Megève. Its main ski area is on the slopes of Mont d'Arbois, which is accessed by fast gondola via Le Bettex. From here you can ski down into Megève. Much of the skiing is pretty and tree-lined and there are some good mountain restaurants as well.
