Louvre area This area covers a lot of the most visited attractions in Paris from the Louvre museum, the Opéra Garnier or the Jardins des Tuileries.
You can also do your clothes shopping on the Boulevard Hausmann at the very famous Les Galleries Lafayette or Le Printemps or if you want to spend fortune on designers clothes, have a look at the Rue du Faubourg St Honoré. Eiffel Tower area

In 1889, the Eiffel Tower was the tallest buiding in the world. It was built for the Exposition Universelle (World Fair) as well as to commemorate the 100th birthday of the French Revolution.
This is a must see monument in Paris where you can view Paris by night on the top of the tower. Other things to see is the Musée de la Marine at the Palais de Chaillot or you can also enjoy play/musicals at the Théâtre Chaillot.

Place de la Concorde area

The Place de la Concorde , which is the largest place in Paris, is situated along the Seine and separates the Tuilerie Gardens from the beginning of the Champs Elysées. It is in the 8th arrondissement of the city.
It was called before the Place de la Révolution where King Louis XVI was executed by the guillotine.
This is one of the most luxurious area of Paris not so far away from the rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and the famous Egyptian Obelisk of Luxor.

Paris International Marathon

The Paris Marathon is a wonderful course which takes runners along some of the Paris' most famous landmarks. The race starts on the Champs-Elysées and continues past the main monuments in the centre, including the Rue de Rivoli, the Concorde and Place de la Bastille, before heading out towards Auteuil. All the runners are invited to a massive pre-race "pasta party", where hundreds of kilos of free spaghetti bolognaise is on offer to keep up the energy levels...
